I know Lenovo is a very well known company for it's versatile options it has for you... I have experience with Lenovo for three years and it has been a terrible journey...
(A) My laptop is unable to keep up with the user's commands and I am very disappointed. It constantly hangs with many applications and has forced to me to switch to lite alternatives with which I am facing limitations.
(B) One month ago, my laptop crashed when I was on a very important business call. The system never updated and I had to visit a service center to change my hard disk which came with its own expenses.
(C) The service is horrible with constant drawbacks. I am highly disappointed and strongly hope that this is amended in the future.
(D) Although the laptop was cheap the additional expenses I had to pay with hard earned money greatly displaced the original cost. I suggest to save up and rather buy a Del or an HP laptop so as to not regret the decision in the future.
(E)My laptop has crashed many times in the past and I have lost important work numerous times.
(F) The media that I have attached is when my laptop crashed and it constantly diagnosed and repaired but never once did it start. Had to change hard drive and lost very important business deal.
I would never suggest this laptop to anyone. I hope this review has helped you not make a regretful decision and has saved you some money. Very bad expirence.

Lenovo puts up a fake front as a scam artist!

I paid $2682 for a Lenovo Thinkpad in October 2019. The unit arrived defective. After I returned it, the sales rep, Brannon **, only authorized a partial refund of $2279. 70, leaving a balance of $402.30 which they still owe me as of this writing on May 21,2021. Phone calls, emails, supervisors, were not helpful. Lenovo is a deceitful company, cheating their customers and getting away with it if they can. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND doing business with them. BUYER BEWARE! (This review will go viral.)

IdeaPad Flex 5 (14")

I bought this product in January of 2021 and almost immediately ran in to problems with it. I had the keyboard and trackpad driver software fail on it within two weeks of receiving the product and I had to reformat/ reinstall. I have been having ongoing issues with freezing and programs quitting/ not responding. In addition, some of the hot hey features could not be deactivated which has been disruptive to my workflow as I use the computer often. Computers should be adaptable to user preferences and I don't feel that they have done a good enough job with this. Overall, I ran in to far too many issues for having just bought this computer. I bought it to replace a 10 year-old MacBook and I still find my old computer more efficient and functional than this new lenovo laptop.
My next issue I take is with the company itself and the way it conducts business. I tried to trouble shoot and address issues on my own for a couple of months. I really tried to make it work for me, but in the end I just ran in to too many difficulties. So I contacted Lenovo customer services to attempt to return the computer for a refund. I stated to them everything I have mentioned above and told them flatly that I do not have any confidence in their product. They put up a number of barriers, I had to make several phone calls and waste hours of my time to even get a proper claim made. My case was escalated and I waited a week to hear a response back. Because it landed outside of the 30 day return window, they told me that there was nothing that they could do, they refused to even consider giving a refund and were quite dismissive and rude about it. I feel like I was justified in wanting a refund and was extremely disappointed that they would not consider it.
From beginning to end my experience has been one of frustration, from the issues I had with the computer to Lenovo's lack of integrity. I would advise against purchasing this product and I certainly would not advise giving this company your business because they clearly do not care about their customers. Don't waste your time and hard earned money with these people.

Extremely poor service.

Extremely poor service.
They have lost my laptop and won't refund or send a new one. Can only deal with a third party customer service agent called Digital River who are useless.
Constantly told to wait while it is investigated. Going on three weeks now without a resolution.

Absolutely the worst customer service…

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had. Almost at 3 months now. Failed pick up 3 times. Finally picked up my goods. 1 month later, they're emailing me asking me if it's been picked up??? Then.. 2 weeks later... another email saying it's being service. I contacted them after 2 weeks.. and they didn't know where it was again. Then I get called a week ago to say it was being replaced?? Only to receive an email the next day, asking if it's been picked up yet?? What the hell is going on Lenovo?? This isn't customer service?? It's theft as far as I'm concerned! Sort your crap out and give me my chromebook back!

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, unless you miss unprofessional and unhelpful customer service, Lenovo doesn't care, especially after you purchased from them.

Hidden costs and terrible customer service

Do not purchase from Lenovo. I have always had Lenovo products however this last experience has put me off ever trusting this company again. Sadly, nothing to do with the product but solely down to the customer service. You're told a different story each time, and some emails I've received are bullying in nature. Basically, purchased desktop from UK site, paying VAT as is clearly itemised on the bill, only to find out it is shipped from Netherlands and I have import tax to pay to UPS. No mention of this on their website. I don't pay and speak to Lenovo to be told it is an error by UPS and they'll sort it, followed by (a week later) it is an error by UPS but if I just pay it they'll sort it and refund me!? Next I request it be cancelled and am told it has been cancelled and refund will be in my account 5-7 days. I wait, no refund. Yet again I'm contacting them, this time it hasn't been cancelled, just a request to cancel submitted but they've decided to not cancel (without informing me) and are still arguing with UPS. I contact bank and they say they'll deal with Lenovo and get me my refund. Suddenly 2 days later Lenovo are telling me they've sorted issue with UPS and my desktop will be delivered... I have ordered another desktop assuming it was cancelled. Lenovo say they can't cancel it... I contact UPS and tell them to return to sender I won't accept it. Lenovo tell me its been returned to them and can they arrange a redelivery! Finally, they tell me I can have my refund but only when I stop my complaint with bank as the bank won't accept refund while my complaints in place... seriously what do you take me for!? I query this with bank and them and suddenly have my refund without removing complaint with bank. WHAT ABOSLUTE BULLIES AND APPALING SERVICE.
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED... DO NOT TOUCH!

Unresponsive - and I'm trying to buy from them!

They are amazingly unresponsive. The website is terrible and the sales support hasn't been contactable ("unusual volume of calls excuse") or responded to requests to contact me for 2 days.
And I'm trying to buy from them, not make a complaint

Poor support

I will never buy another product from Lenovo again here's why. On the website it says "The best products deserve the best care" but they don't show that. I purchased a Lenovo G25-10 Monitor - Type 65FE and it arrived with a dead pixel in the center of the screen. When I wrote a repair ticket they ghosted me and never got back to me. The other day I also noticed that there was a scratch on the screen and dozens of stuck/dead pixels where it is. I never did anything to cause this and they said on a live chat that any damage isn't covered by warranty. If they really cared about their customers and products they would repair it or replace it for me. Do not purchase a product from them unless you want to deal with terrible support.

Horrible buying experience

I bought a IdeaPad Duet chromebook from Lenovo in December 2020 as Christmas gift to my daugther, the product itself is rather OK, but the homepage, support, warranty registration, activation of extra insurance etc was a nightmare. It took me about 2 days of work to make the computer have the correct status and with activated insurance/warranty etc.
I bought the computer since it had active drawing (active stylus) pen as accessory, but the pen was not in included and not in stock when I bought the computer. First in January the recommended pen was in stock and I bought it directly from Lenovo homepage in good time before my daughters birthday in February. Finally I had the pen but when daugher opened it on her birthday, the pen did not work, we found out it must be the wrong pen for my computer. When checking Lenovo homepage now, the pen is no longer recommended accessory for my computer, instead another pen should be used.
When trying to get in contact with Lenovo aftersales by their homepage (online form), chat or phone, I was just shuffling between different homepages, different phone numbers to call etc. In Europe another company Digital River is responsible for the sales. I guess I was shuffled between Lenovo support and Digital River support.
Finally I was able to talk with someone (not sure from which company), after a few days they accepted my return, the pen was shipped back and my payment was also returned.
Buying from Lenovo (at least in Europe) is a horrible buying experience mainly due to difficulties in their homepage, product registration and aftersales support. I spent many hours for each product I bought on their homepage due to troubles caused by either Lenovo or Digital River.
I have to add that Lenovo is using UPS deliveries in Europe. UPS should deliver my computer at my door, I am working from home so I know I was home, but instead UPS wrote failied delivery attempts 2 times, and brought the computer to a service center and I have to pick it up myself 4 days later. UPS also succeded to deliver the second product (the pen) to one of my neightbours instead. Lenovo + UPS = DISASTER
Now when I got my refund for the pen, I will buy the correct Pen for my daugthers computer. I hope I will have a better luck this time. When it comes to the delivery, I know already using UPS will cause me headache again.
